Ari Aster’s Midsommar gets a first poster

March 1, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Following last week’s mysterious teaser, A24 has now released the first poster for Hereditary director Ari Aster’s upcoming ‘Scandavian Folk Horror’ Midsommar, and we have it for you here…

Midsommar will see Florence Pugh (Fighting with my Family), Jack Reynor (On the Basis of Sex) as a couple who travel to Sweden to visit their friend’s rural hometown for its fabled mid-summer festival. And, what begins as an idyllic retreat, quickly devolves into an increasingly violent and bizarre competition at the hands of a pagan cult.

The Film is set for release on August 9th and also stars Will Poulter (Black Mirror: Bandersnatch), and William Jackson Parker (The Good Place).
