BAFTA announces 2023 British Academy Film Awards nominations

BAFTA has today announced the nominations for the 76th British Academy Film Awards, with Netflix’s harrowing World War I drama All Quiet on the Western Front leading the field with fourteen nominations in total including Best Film, which it will contest alongside The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, Everything Everywhere All At Once and Tár.

Each of the Best Film nominees also received multiple nominations, with ten for The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once, nine for Elvis, and five for Tár. followed by Aftersun, The Batman, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, Top Gun: Maverick and The Whale on four.
