Batman Unlimited reportedly a direct-to-video animated movie

June 22, 2014 by Gary Collinson

During the Licensing Expo 2014, a poster was uncovered for Batman Unlimited, which seemingly indicated that Warner Bros. has a new animated Batman project in the pipeline.

While much of the speculation pointed towards this being a replacement for the CG-animated Beware the Batman, Legions of Gotham is reporting that it is in fact a new direct-to-video animated movie, similar to the recent JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time, which is aimed towards the family market.

Of course, nothing is confirmed until we get an official announcement from Warner Bros. on their upcoming animated slate, which will presumably come at Comic-Con next month.

Would you like to see Batman getting a new animated series, or should WB concentrate on its other DC properties?
