Battle Royale FPS Fear the Wolves arrives on Steam Early Access this month

July 6, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Atmospheric battles in the ruins of a decaying Chernobyl will be possible this month as Focus Home Interactive and developer Vostok Games have announced their Battle Royale FPS Fear the Wolves will be arriving on Steam Early Access on the 18th July.

Fear the Wolves will drop players into the radioactive ruins of Chernobyl with nothing to defend themselves against mutated wildlife, unexplainable anomalies or the other 99 other players.  Weaponry will have to be scavenged from the environment and can be collected from air drops in order to get to the helicopter extraction zone.

Wolves are mutated, radioactive creatures that travel alone and in packs, these pose a threat to all players but by thinking tactically, can be used to weaken your enemies.  As the radiation intensifies other hazards begin to form including poisonous gases, deadly rays and areas that distort reality.

Those who jump into Chernobyl to face against these numerous hazards can expect regular patches and updates bringing new features and challenges.

Fear the Wolves comes to Steam Early Access this month and is set for full release in 2019.
