Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution to exit Early Access in November

October 30, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Studio Imugi’s debut game, Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution, will be leaving Early Access on 9th November, the 226th anniversary of Napolean’s historic 1799 coup. This historical battle strategy hybrid leaves Early Access with a wealth of new content, including new mechs, maps and more. Watch the new trailer below….

In Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution, players take on the role of either Céline or César Bonaparte in a turn-based strategy journey through an alternate history. Players can create their own history for France through the decisions made, whether that is to defend the monarchy, reform it, or strip it away entirely and embrace the revolution.

In a world where mechs dominate battlefields, players must build armies by recruiting soldiers, purchasing gunpowder weapons and constructing mighty Colossi, and leading them into battle in tense turn-based combat. Use cunning, political skills and tactical military prowess to outmanoeuvre the enemy and exploit their weaknesses.

Featuring:

  • Win a war of ideology. Choose the ideals that suit you to take control of France and do what’s best for the proud French commoners.
  • Take part in epic alternate history battles using not only swords and gunpowder but also massive state-of-the-art mechs.
  • Meet famous (and infamous) historical characters like Robespierre, Lafayette and Danton, and use them to further your political ambitions.
  • Conscript entire battalions of men and construct giant mechs to expand your territory.
  • Manipulate an intricate political system through action as you change the infrastructure and population in the regions under your control.

Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution is available on Steam Early Access now and will launch fully on 9th November.
