Buy a World of Warcraft pet and help those in need at the same time

September 14, 2017 by Villordsutch

It can’t escape most readers that there is a fair amount of bad news going on outside the window right now; however there are a large number of people doing their hardest to both help and support those in need.  If you’re a World of Warcraft player you can now support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Disaster Relief Fund, and at the same time get yourself a rare companion pet.

Named Shadow the Fox, this cunning little ball of fur is now available to purchase for just 10 Euro’s, upto the 31st December 2017, from both the in-game shop and the Blizzard Store.  Once you purchase Shadow, it’s available on all your characters straight away and not only this you can use Shadow for pet battles too.

Lost on Argus and overtaken by darkness, this playful fox can shrug off the void just by being by your side. With its adorably oversized ears, it’ll be at your side, trotting through every battle. At the end of the day, curl up next to this cuddly canidae and admire its color-changing coat with its light and shadow effects. It’s yours to keep.

100% of the 10€ adoption fee will be donated to both the American Red Cross Disaster Relief and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Disaster Relief Fund. Donations will be split equally between both organisations: for the American Red Cross to help people affected by disasters big and small in the U.S., and the IFRC to help Red Cross Red Crescent Societies respond to disasters around the world through their Disaster Relief Emergency Fund.

You can find out more about the American Red Cross and the IFRC, by visiting their website’s here www.redcross.org and www.ifrc.org.  To visit Blizzard’s website to purchase Shadow Fox go here.
