Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies mode revealed in new trailers

May 21, 2018 by Andrew Newton

There’s nothing quite like settling down for some relaxing gaming but Zombies mode on Call of Duty has never been relaxing, it’s action packed, nail biting and enjoyably stress inducing. Fortunately, from the three new trailers (see below) the Zombies mode in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 looks set to continue the thrill as it takes players through time to foil the plans of an evil cult.

The new Zombies story mode is set across three unique missions taking place on three different maps: IX, Voyage of Despair and Blood of the Dead.  IX takes players back to ancient Rome for some zombie combat in a Roman arena, there’s no guns here just swords, axes and spears.  Voyage of Despair contains the same four heroes and places them on a certain notorious ocean liner that is crawling with the undead.  Finally, Blood of the Dead takes players through a mission which references previous ‘classic’ maps.  Possibly the best news about the new Zombies mode is if you have no pals to team up with you can play alongside AI team mates instead.

The new mode will have a huge amount of customisation options to provide different challenges however, if you want a simplified version of the traditional Zombies experience then you can plump for the Zombie Rush mode.
