Call of Duty: Mobile announced, coming to iOS and Android

March 19, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Activision and Tencent have announced Call of Duty: Mobile, a new free-to-play title releasing in the West on iOS and Android devices.

Call of Duty: Mobile is a first-person shooter that will implement maps, game modes, weapons, and characters from the entire Call of Duty franchise, including Black Ops and Modern Warfare series.

The game modes will include Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy and Free-For-All, in iconic maps such as Nuketown, Crash and Hijacked. Additionally, players will be able to earn and unlock classic Call of Duty characters, weapons, scorestreaks and other gear to customise your loadout.

Besides the classic multiplayer modes, Activision are also teasing that there will be more modes to play, that will be announced at a later date. Watch the announcement trailer below to watch, what appears to be a tease for a future battle royale mode…

For now, you can pre-register on the official website to receive game updates and gain access to the public beta coming this summer.
