Call of Duty: WWII‘s fourth DLC pack, Shadow War, announced

August 23, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Activision have announced that the fourth DLC pack for Call of Duty: WWII will arrive on the PS4 on 28th August.  Titled Shadow War, this latest DLC will include three new multiplayer maps, a new War Mode Mission and the conclusion to the Nazi Zombies storyline.  A new trailer showcasing Shadow War can be seen below…

The three new multiplayer maps are:

Airship – A map set high in the Alps where a treacherous mountain path leads the way to a docked zeppelin.

Chancellery – A French Chancellery with a main courtyard and flanking pathways make an ideal arena for a night-time brawl.

Excavation – An Algerian mine housing the plundered loot of conquered European nations and the dunes of a tank graveyard is the battle ground in this new map.

As well as new multiplayer maps, there is also a new War Mode Mission to test players skill.  Operation Arcane is set deep within a secret Austrian enemy research facility and tasks players with sneaking in, stealing schematics and destroying the hanger filled with UFOs.

Last but not least is Frozen Dawn, the conclusion to the epic Nazi Zombies story.  This final chapter will see players join Marie, Drostan, Olivia and Jefferson as they try to end the cult of Thule.

Shadow War will be available on 28th August on PS4 first.  Other formats will arrive at a later date.
