Pragmata trailer teases Capcom’s sci-fi action-adventure

June 5, 2025 by Andrew Newton

At the recent PlayStation State of Play broadcast, Capcom announced that their sci-fi action-adventure Pragmata would be released in 2026 for the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. A new trailer has also been released (see below) introducing the sci-fi setting, the playable characters and action-packed gameplay.

It’s been nearly five years since Capcom first announced Pragmata, and despite many people believing it would never come Capcom have stayed the course and it now seems that gamers will be blessed in 2026. There’s even a smiley note stating “2026 It’s Real”.

Pragmata takes players to the futuristic, yet seemingly lifeless, lunar research station as spacefarer Hugh. When he and android Diana are attacked by the station’s hostile AI, the pair work together to ensure their survival. The pair must rely on their strengths and abilities to overcome the different obstacles that block their path.

Players will be able to control both of these players at the same time and hack into computer systems and machinery to help make survival that little bit easier. Players will find hacking is at the heart of the game and provides a degree of strategy to combat.

Look out for more details arriving for Pragmata at a later date.
