Cast your line in the new Dark Volcano zone in Fishing Strike

August 1, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Leading mobile game publisher and developer Netmarble Corporation has released an epic new update for their mobile fishing game Fishing Strike.  The Dark Volcano update introduces a new zone to fish in, new characters and more fishing equipment to use.

The Dark Volcano fishing zone gives mobile anglers the opportunity to fish in nine stages inspired by actual volcanoes, these include Mount Pinatubo in The Philippines, Krakatoa in Indonesia, Mount Etna in Italy and Mauna Kea in Hawaii.

Fishing Strike already offers hundreds of species of fish to catch but this latest update adds another 90 species ranging from level 61 to 143.  And talking about levels, the maximum level for the No Limit Challenge has been increased from 108 to 126.

Fish hunters are now able to partner up with Yuri, a new legendary angler, who uses magic to activate a powerful freezing skill.  There’s also a new range of fishing equipment to collect, including the Golden Phoenix Set, Pink Dia Phoenix Set and the new Blaze Phoenix Boat.

With Fishing Strike, players can cast their lines around the world in the hopes of catching one of the 700+ species of fish.  Get the game now on Android and iOS and see what you catch.
