Chivalry 2 launch trailer arrives ahead of next week’s release

June 3, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Tripwire Interactive and developer Torn Banner Studios have released the launch trailer (see below) for their ultimate medieval hack ‘n’ slash game Chivalry 2 ahead of its launch on 8th June.  It’s also been revealed that players will be able to pre-download and install on Sunday 6th June on Xbox One, Series X/S, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5.

With Chivalry 2, head into the thick of medieval combat where the fighting is fast-paced and brutal.  Dominate massive battles where catapults pound castle walls, where the sound of swords clashing echoes through the throng of fighters and the smoke of burning arrows trails across the sky.

Players will be able to choose from 4 classes and 12 subclasses, each with their own selection of weapons and abilities, and take part in epic scale battles across sprawling landscapes.  Players will need to master fighting with the weapons and equipment of the time if they are to survive.

Battles may include a number of team objectives that can be completed, these include all the nasty medieval tactics such as laying siege to castles, slaughtering peasants and wiping out villages from the face of the Earth.

Chivalry 2 brings with it a new and improved combat system that combines real-time strikes with a combo system that really speeds up the action and lets players become a deadly whirlwind of iron and steel on the battlefield.

Get ready for spilling medieval blood with Chivalry 2 next week.
