Daisy Ridley reveals the Star Wars scene she had the most fun filming

January 30, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Daisy Ridley, the star of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, reveals the Star Wars scene she had the most fun filming.

The Star Wars franchise is known for its iconic moments, game-changing twists, and memorable scenes, and it’s fair to say that Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, was a part of a number of these during the sequel trilogy.

But what scene was the most fun for the actress to film? Well, it turns out that a rather comical moment involving Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren is top of her list. Speaking to desired, the actress said:

“Well, a funny scene is in [Star Wars: The Force Awakens], because I remember trying not to laugh as it was happening. I faint and Kylo scoops me up, when we had to shoot the bit of him walking up onto his ship with me, it’s quite a steep thing, so he had his mask on and he was swearing a lot. Because obviously it takes a long time to film scenes and he was huffing and puffing. And I just laid there not doing anything.”

Now that The Rise of Skywalker is in the bank, fans can start looking forward to the future of the franchise. While we don’t know anything about what new movies to expect, with The Mandalorian season two, Clone Wars season seven, and the in-development Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cassian Andor series, there’s a lot to look forward to.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker sees J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) directing a cast that includes Star Wars veterans Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Greg Grunberg (Snap Wexley), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine) and Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) as well as new additions Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth), Richard E. Grant (Logan), Dominic Monaghan (Lost), and Keri Russell (The Americans).
