Trailer for dark sci-fi comedy Deborah starring Sophia Bush and Deborah Ann Woll

October 21, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

With less than two weeks to go until its digital release, a poster and trailer have arrived online for writer-director Noga Pnueli’s sci-fi comedy Deborah.

The film follows a group of friends during a weekend long party as they discover an AI device that allows them to rewind time in small increments, but not without consequence as they start to exploit the device, indulging in their worst behaviours.

The film features a cast that includes Sophia Bush, Deborah Ann Woll, Scott Michael Foster, Kevin Bigley, Arjun Gupta, Ciara Renée, and Michael Waller. Check out the trailer below…

During a weekend-long engagement party, a group of childhood friends discovers a seemingly harmless AI device that allows them to manipulate time in small increments. As the weekend goes on, everyone in the house starts exploiting the device to say and do things that they otherwise wouldn’t do – settling old scores and indulging in their worst behavior – since they can immediately rewind and take them back without consequence. But the time rewinds leave emotional scars and the more the device is used, the more the tension builds – until everything comes to a head.

Deborah arrives on digital on November 1st.
