Dark secrets won’t stay buried in trailer for neo-Western supernatural thriller Deadland

June 4, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its UK digital release later this month, Lightbulb Film Distribution has shared a poster and trailer for the supernatural neo-Western thriller Deadland.

Written and directed by Lance Larson and premiering at last year’s SXSW, the film follows a US border agent as he is haunted by the death of a detained immigrant who was buried in an unmarked grave. Watch the trailer below…

When a detained immigrant is killed, US border agents dispose of the man’s body in an unmarked grave. But like their dark secret, the victim refuses to remain buried.

The film stars Roberto Urbina (Snowpiercer), Julieth Restrepo (Griselda), McCaul Lombardi (American Honey) and Chris Mulkey (Whiplash).

Deadland arrives on digital in the UK on June 24th.
