Variety has announced that David Tennant and Michael Sheen are to join the cast of Amazon’s Good Omens, an adaptation of the Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett novel of the same name, which has Gaiman attached as writer and showrunner. Tennant will play the “fast-living demon” Crowley, with Sheen as the “somewhat fussy angel” Aziraphale.
The official synopsis for the six episode series reads:

People have been predicting the end of the world almost from its very beginning, so it’s only natural to be sceptical when a new date is set for Judgement Day.
