Ahead of her big screen debut in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it seems that DC Entertainment is putting the spotlight on the Amazon Princess. Following the recently-launched Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman, DC has now announced that a new digital-first series based upon the classic Wonder Woman TV show starring Lynda Carter is set to get underway this year.
Wonder Woman ’77 will launch in December, with Marc Andreyko writing and Nicola Scott providing several covers. The series will debut digitally with six consecutive weekly chapters which will then be collected in two print issues in early 2015, with the title then resuming in the spring and appearing periodically throughout the year.
