Digimon Story Time Stranger demo now available

September 11, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Ahead of the launch of Digimon Story Time Stranger on 3rd October, Bandai Namco has released a new playable demo on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. This new demo will allow players to get a feel of what to expect in the full game, and all save data from the demo will be transferable. A new trailer can be seen below, showing what to expect with the demo.

Once players complete the Digimon Story Time Stranger demo, it will unlock the Adventure Trial Mode in Central Town and allow them to explore additional areas and dungeons within the Digital World of Iliad. Although, progress made in Adventure Trial Mode will not transfer to the full game.

Digimon Story Time Stranger takes players on an adventure that spans both the human world and Digital World where they will collect a variety of Digimon to fight in turn-based battles, and explore the deep bond between humans and Digimon.

Players will join ADAMAS, a secret organisation that investigates anomalous phenomena, and after witnessing a city-leveling explosion, journey 8 years into the past to take on a mission to discover the mystery of the world’s collapse.

Jump between the two worlds and see the Digital World like never before, embark on quests of exploration, and take part in strategic turn-based battles with more than 450 Digimon.

The demo for Digimon Story Time Stranger is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are available now.
