Doctor Who foe The Daleks are on the warpath again in new audio adventure from Big Finish

September 24, 2025 by Andrew Newton

There’s great news for Daleks fans as Big Finish release the new Worlds of Doctor Who full-cast audio drama Bernice Summerfield: The Dalek Eternity 1. As seen in last year’s series called The Eternity Club, Bernice Summerfield (Lisa Bowerman) joined the titular name for the society of galactic explorers. Unfortunately for her, her new home is now under attack by the evildoers of the universe, the Daleks.

The denizens of Skaro intend to take over the Eternity Club and use it for their insidious plans of galactic conquest. Before the Daleks have a chance to screech ‘Exterminate!’, Bernice is on the run, and so the chase begins.

This is the first in a new four part series that will see the 26th-century archaeologist and her new friends against one of her oldest enemies. The Dalek Eternity 1 features two brand-new half-hour episodes:

The Lonely Bomb by James Goss – With the Daleks having invaded Bernice’s new sanctuary, she flees in a retired TARDIS. With the Dalek Fleet hot in pursuit, Bernice’s immediate thoughts are what can she do to prevent the Daleks getting their hands on the biggest weapons store in the galaxy.

In Satrap by Felicia Barker, the Eternity Club is occupied by the Daleks, and evidence seems to suggest that one of the members is working against them. Can Secretary Pym uncover the saboteur, or will he be exterminated?

Lisa Bowerman and Niamh Cusack

Alongside Lisa Bowerman is Nicholas Briggs as the Daleks, Adrian Lukis as Secretary Pym, Chandrika Chevli as the Suspension of Geren, Rachel Atkins as Nurse, Simon Kane as 312, Niamh Cusack as the Oldest, Adam Byard as the Johannes Arsenal/Plubost, Alex Hewitt as Butler, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Grizella.

Bernice Summerfield: The Dalek Eternity 1 is available now from the Big Finish website as a download for £8.99, or as a download and limited collector’s edition CD for £10.99. The complete series can be purchased together for £32 for the download and £40 for the download and CDs.
