Following the release of a new sneak peek video earlier this week [watch it here], New Zealand actress Emma Lahana (Haven, Power Rangers Dino Thunder) has taken to Twitter to announce that she is set to appear in the Freeform Marvel series Cloak & Dagger, although her character is being kept under wraps for the time being.

“Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart, but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.
Cloak & Dagger stars Aubrey Joseph (The Night Of) and Olivia Holt (Kickin’ It) as the two young heroes, while the rest of the cast includes Andrea Roth (Rescue Me, Blue Bloods), Gloria Reuben (ER, Mr. Robot), Miles Mussenden (Bloodline, Queen Sugar), Carl Lundstedt (Grey’s Anatomy, Conviction), James Saito (Life of Pi, The Devil’s Advocate), J.D. Evermore (True Detective, The Walking Dead) and Emma Lahana (Haven, Power Rangers Dino Thunder). It is set to premiere on Freeform on June 7th.
