ExZeus: The Complete Collection to arrive on PC and consoles later this summer

August 5, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Ziggurat Interactive has announced they will be releasing ExZeus: The Complete Collection on PC and consoles later this summer.  Both games have been updated for modern tech’ although the flying mech alien shooting action remains every bit as much fun.  Watch the new trailer below.

ExZeus: The Complete Collection comprises of the classic rail-shooter ExZeus and its sequel ExZeus 2 and will have players pilot a huge mech suit through numerous environments as they unleash powerful weaponry on invading aliens.

In ExZeus a fearsome alien entity known as the Diadora has devastated the planet causing the remaining population to seek safety underground.  Something needs to be done to counter this terrible opponent so the world’s governments initiate an immediate counter-attack using one of their three experimental robots, Sophia, Calista and Dynamis.  It is up to players to choose one of these mechs and set out to defeat the invaders.  Players will need to unleash devastating attacks, collect power-ups and upgrade their mechs to become more powerful.

ExZeus 2 takes place a century after the events of the first game and this time a new alien is threatening the world.  Fortunately, there is hope and the three hero mechs from the first game are unearthed and fused together to form the mighty Minos.  Using this powerful new robot players will need to take on the new threat and ensure peace remains.
