F1 2020 available now on Xbox One, PS4, Stadia and PC

July 10, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Codemasters has today released F1 2020, the official videogame of the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Google Stadia and PC.  This latest title in the franchise comes with all 10 teams, 20 drivers and cars from the 2020 season as well as lots of new features, including new circuits, the new driver manager feature My Team and much more.  Enjoy the new launch trailer below and read our glowing F1 2020 review here….

Among the new features is the driver-manager feature, My Team, which allows players to create their very own F1 team and take a place alongside the established 2020 line-up. This mode will offer players a new driver-manager experience providing a unique insight into the sport. Players will be able to arrange car design, staff hiring, finding sponsors and be able to ensure everything runs smoothly on and off the track.

With F1 2020 players will be able to choose how long a season to race, there will still be the option of running the original full 22 race season but there will also be the options for shorter 10 and 16 race seasons.  This choice of season length is available in both My Team and Career modes.

There has been the addition of more simplified menus which allow drivers to spend more time competing as well as on-track improvements such as ERS activation.  Players will also be able to try their skills on the two new circuits, Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort.  For those who like local multiplayer, there has also been the reintroduction of split-screen.

“F1 2020 is two years in the making, and we are excited with the level of innovation for players of all levels,” said Lee Mather, F1 Franchise Game Director at Codemasters. “Whether someone wants a split-screen battle with friends, a 10-race season or a full driver-manager experience, F1 2020 gives players the option to race their way.”

F1 2020 is available now.
