Fate/Extella Link arrives on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS Vita in Europe

March 22, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Marvelous Europe has announced the release of Fate/Extella Link on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita.  This direct sequel to the popular 2017 hit Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star will have players hack and slash their way through rampaging enemies.  A launch trailer can be seen below along with three character trailers…

Fate/Extella Link will continue from where The Umbral Star ended and will see players once more take on the invading armies and retake the virtual world of SE.RA.PH.  This latest title in the Fate series will add 10 servants to the original roster of 16, including servants from other titles in the Fate series such as Astolfo, Scàthach and Francis Drake.

Those players who have save data for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star will be able to unlock a selection of outfits, including Crimson Noble Wear (Nero), Student Outfit (Tamamo) and the Head Nurse of Steel (Altera) and Lapis Lazuli Dress (Artoria).

There will be two special editions released, the Joyeuse Edition which will contain a soundtrack CD, a pack of 10 collectible cards depicting each of the new Servants, a cloth poster, an acrylic diorama featuring the Servants Nero, Drake and Scáthach and the DLC code for the Bowman of Justice Outfit.  The Emperor of Paladins Edition will include all the Joyeuse Edition contents plus a set of ‘Holy Tile of the Moon’ Mahjong tiles.

Fate/Extella Link is available now on Switch, PS4 and PS Vita.
