It may not hit screens until 2020, but the BBC has announced that filming is now underway on the twelfth series of Doctor Who, with the official BBC America Twitter account sharing a photo from the set featuring Jodie Whittaker (The Doctor) alongside her co-stars Bradley Walsh (Graham O’Brien), Tosin Cole (Ryan Sinclair) and Mandip Gill (Yasmin Khan).

Details on Doctor Who series 12 are being kept under wraps, but we do know that Chris Chibnall will return as showrunner and that it is slated to air in “very early” 2020.
