With less than a month to go until The Devil Wears Prada 2 lands in cinemas, the final trailer and four character posters have been released for the long-awaited sequel, which sees Meryl Streep’s Miranda struggle with the dying industry of print journalism, as she finds herself facing off against her former assistant Emily (Emily Blunt).
The comedy sees the return of David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, alongside stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman, with newcomers Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora joining the cast.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will follow Streep as Runway magazine’s editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly, dealing with the decline of print journalism and attempting to find her footing in a dying industry. Priestly finds herself facing off against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising money that Priestly desperately needs.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 arrives in cinemas on May 1st.
