First trailer for The ‘Burbs TV series starring Keke Palmer

December 4, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Peacock has debut a teaser trailer and images for The ‘Burbs, offering a first look at the  TV remake of Joe Dante’s 1989 comedy horror.

The mystery comedy series stars Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall as a couple who find their world upended when they return to the husband’s childhood suburban home, and strange new neighbours move in the long-vacant house next door, uncovering dark, buried secrets in their quiet cul-de-sac.

Joining Palmer and Whitehall in the cast are Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar. Check out the trailer below…

Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.

The ‘Burbs premieres on Peacock on February 8th.
