Giallo-inspired slasher The Blade Cuts Deeper gets a trailer and poster

With less than a week to go until its release, a poster and trailer have arrived online for the giallo-inspired slasher The Blade Cuts Deeper.

Written and directed by Gene Dolders, the film sees John Abbott, a narcissistic TV host who has built his career on exploiting real-life tragedies, become the target of a grieving victim who is seeking revenge.

The cast includes John Tueart, Kristin Jaap, James Podmore, Vicki Avery, Kevin Carter,Peter Durr, Quentin J. Gray,  Lucy Renton, Lindsay Bennett-Thompson, Saul Murphy, and Jason L. Ricketts. Watch the trailer below…

Many people want their five minutes of fame but for some, it comes at the ultimate price – their life!’ Meet John Abbott, narcissistic host of infamous real-crime show Lights, Camera, KILL. Known for its lurid re-enactments of the darkest of trespasses, it has made him rich by exploiting pain and suffering. Yet while Abbott basks shamelessly in the limelight, one victim has seen enough. Broken by his loss, the man has a burning thirst for revenge – and now he wants to make Abbott bleed.

The Blade Cuts Deeper arrives on DVD and digital on November 18th.
