The Academy voters delivered a surprise at last night’s 91st Academy Awards as Green Book was named Best Picture, leaving hot favourite Roma to settle for Best Foreign Language Film.
Green Book picked up three Oscars in total, adding Best Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali) and Best Original Screenplay, while there were also big wins for Rami Malek (Best Actor – Bohemian Rhapsody), Olivia Colman (Best Actress – The Favourite), Regina King (Best Supporting Actress – If Beale Street Could Talk), Alfonso Cuaron (Best Director – Roma), and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Best Animated Feature).
Bohemian Rhapsody picked up the most awards on the night with four, followed by Black Panther, Green Book and Roma with three apiece. Check out the full list of winners here…
