Has Geoff Johns just teased the Wonder Woman 2 title?

June 1, 2018 by Matt Rodgers

Warner Bros. recently acquired a set of domain names that hinted at potential titles for Patty Jenkin’s Wonder Woman sequel, and now producer and DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer, Geoff Johns, has posted a logo that simply reads ‘WW84‘.

Patty Jenkins has previously confirmed that the movie won’t be titled Wonder Woman 2, and Wonder Woman 1984 was among the list of domain names registered last month, so this could either be the working title, or definite confirmation that the return of Diana Prince will be set in 1984.

Wonder Woman 2 is set for release on November 1st 2019 and will see Gal Gadot once again leading the cast as Diana Prince alongside Kristen Wiig (Ghostbusters) as Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) in an as-yet-unrevealed role. According to rumours, Ewen Bremner (Charlie), Said Taghmaoui (Sameer), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe), Doutzen Kroes (Venelia) are all set to return, while Chris Pine may also reprise the role of Steve Trevor.
