Jason Momoa names two Justice League members he wants in Aquaman 2

December 18, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Jason Momoa, the star of Aquaman, has named two DC characters that he would love to see in the sequel.

Aquaman seems to be going down pretty well with fans around the world, with audiences getting their first experience of a solo on-screen adventure for Momoa’s Arthur Curry. But, with Aquaman 2 now in early development, who might be joining the character in the sequel?

Well, Momoa has a few ideas of his own concerning which characters he would like to see make an appearance. Speaking to Collider, the actor said: “I love Flash. I absolutely love Ezra Miller, he’s like family to me. Just to have him on set…but you can’t have Flash come strolling through the set, it just doesn’t work. I think Wonder Woman would be pretty rad, too. Flash and Wonder Woman would be my first two. I don’t wanna pick one, so I’ll pick two.”

These are two pretty high profile names but it’s not out of the realms of possibility. Of course, all three characters have been seen together in Justice League. Would you like to see The Flash and Wonder Woman in Aquaman 2?

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman”, starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime — one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be … a king.”

Aquaman is directed by James Wan (The Conjuring) and stars Jason Momoa as the titular hero, reprising his role from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, along with Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Dr. Vulko, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, Ludi Lin as Murk, Michael Beach as Jesse Kane, Djimon Hounsou as the Fisherman King, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, Otis Dhanji as a young Arthur Curry, Julie Andrews as Karathen and Graham McTavish as King Atlan.
