Justice League gets two new posters, tracking $120 million domestic opening weekend

October 27, 2017 by Amie Cranswick

Following yesterday’s new trailer [watch it here], we now have another new one-sheet and a Mondo poster for Warner Bros.’ hotly-anticipated Justice League; take a look below…

Meanwhile, Deadline is reporting that box office tracking data for Justice League is pointing to a domestic box office opening weekend of between $110 million and $120 million. That would put it ahead of Wonder Woman ($103.3 million) and in the same ball park as Man of Steel ($116.6 million), but behind Suicide Squad ($133.7 million) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($166.0 million). Of course, tracking isn’t always accurate, and things could very well change over the next couple of weeks…

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will reunite Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope alongside J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard (The Danish Girl) as Mera, Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as Vulko, Kiersey Clemons (Dope) as Iris West, Ciaran Hinds (Game of Thrones) as Steppenwolf, and Julian Lewis Jones (Stella) and Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
