Kevin Feige says there’s a “slew of casting announcements” for Phase Three movies over the next couple of months

October 1, 2015 by admin

As Captain America: Civil War goes through its post-production phase, attention at Marvel Studios can now look towards their Phase Three line-up of movies including Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Captain Marvel. While we know some casting choices for those films, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige has promised that we’ll get a whole batch of announcements before the end of the year.

“I think we’ll be having a whole slew of casting announcements over the next few months,” Feige told guests at an Avengers: Age of Ultron home entertainment release party. “I think that on both [Thor: Ragnarok] and [Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2] and some other films.”

While the majority of the casts for those movies are largely known (they won’t be changing the line-up of Guardians of the Galaxy any time soon), this could be an indication we’ll get some villain announcements. Could we also be getting word on who’s playing Captain Marvel? Will it be Ronda Rousey? Probably not.
