Legacy of Destruction booster comes to Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game

April 26, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Konami has released the brand-new core booster set Legacy of Destruction for Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This latest booster delivers a mix of new themes that Duelists can use to cement their legacy, plus a wealth of support for existing themes.

This highly anticipated set brings the new ‘Tenpai Dragon’, a new Fire Dragon theme that has been inspired by the titanic Synchro Monster Trident Dragion. Duelists will be able to play Fire Dragon monsters and unleash relentless attacks and then take pleasure in Synchro Summon during the Battle Phase.  There’s also the new ‘Ragnaraika’ theme that allows Duelists to swarm their opponents with versatile cards that can cascade into stronger Link Monsters.

The Legacy of Destruction also brings along plenty of support for many fan-favourite themes, including ‘Ancient Gear’, ‘Lightsworn’, ‘Diabellstar’, ‘Melodious’, ‘Gold Pride’ and many more. Additionally, there are new World Premiere cards for the ‘Ashened’ theme.

Those who want to revisit the tear-jerker moments of the final Duel between Yugi Muto and Atem will be able to find new versions of Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman.  There’s also a new version of Gandora the Dragon of Destruction, which has the ability to banish all other cards on the field and summon a Special Summon from the deck.

Legacy of Destruction brings 100 new cards to collect and play, these include 10 Secret Rares, 14 Ultra Rares, 26 Super Rares and 50 Commons. 24 of these cards are also available as Quarter Century Secret Rares, and 1 special card is only available as a Quarter Century Secret Rare.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of Destruction is available now from all good retailers.
