Microids and Blazing Griffin studio (the developer of the Hercule Poirot series of games) have announced a new adventure based on the legendary Arsene Lupin, Arsene Lupin – Once a Thief. The game will be available on Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch and PC later this year. Watch the new reveal trailer below…
Arsene Lupin was created by French writer Maurice Leblanc in the early 1900s and has gone on to have many adventures where, although being a gentleman thief, also manages to do a bit of good in the world. A bit of an anti-hero some may say.
In Arsene Lupin – Once a Thief, players will follow the iconic gentleman-burglar through his world of adventure as he has a fireside chat with his author (and creator) Maurice Leblanc. As Lupin recounts his escapades, players will participate in the thrills of his past exploits.
This adventure puzzler will have players explore Lupin’s early life, his loves and his crimes as both Lupin and his pursuer (and antagonist of the tales) Detective Ganimard, both of which offer unique perspectives on stories including ‘The Arrest of Arsène Lupin’ and ‘Herlock Sholmes Arrives Too Late’.

- A variety of environments to explore, many disguises to employ and numerous puzzles to solve.
- A vibrant art style reminiscent of an illustrated book of the time.
