Livewire, Metallo, and more villains to return to Supergirl in 2017

December 28, 2016 by James Garcia

Kara Zor-El has had her hands full with DC Comics villains in Supergirl‘s second season. She’s come to blows with folks like Roulette, Metallo, Parasite, and even helped the Green Arrow and Flash battle the Dominators during the four-part “Invasion!” crossover event. Now, thanks to TV Line, we know that she’ll be facing off with several familiar faces again when the show returns in 2017.

According to the new report, past Supergirl foes Livewire (played by Brit Morgan) and Metallo (Frederick Schmidt) will be coming back to National City at some point in the back half of the season, along with other, unnamed “fan-favorite” villains, as teased by executive producer Ali Adler. Other foes we know will be cropping up in the coming months are Roulette, the Dominators, and Mr. Mxyzptlk.
