Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip, The Best Man Holiday) has signed on to direct Kevin Hart in the action comedy Night School, which previously had Tim Story (Ride Alone, Think Like a Man) attached.

Based on a story by Hart, who penned the script with Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells and Matt Kellard, Night School follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the long-shot chance they’ll pass the GED exam. It is set for release on September 28th 2018.

Hart will next be seen in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which opens on December 22nd 2017 [watch the trailer here]. He is also attached to Untouchable, a remake of The Intouchables, along with a remake of The Great Outdoors, and the action comedy Ride Along 3.
