Margot Robbie officially in talks for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

March 13, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Back in July of last year when it was first announced that Quentin Tarantino was working on a new movie featuring the Manson Family murders, one of the first names linked to the project was that of Suicide Squad and I, Tonya star Margot Robbie.

Well, with the now titled Once Upon a Time in Hollywood coming together cast-wise with the additions of Leonardo DiCaprio (Django Unchained) and Brad Pitt (Inglourious Basterds), Deadline is reporting that Oscar nominee Robbie is now officially in talks for the role of Sharon Tate, wife of Roman Polanski, and one of the Manson Family’s victims.

The official synopsis for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood reads:

“A story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour…Sharon Tate.”
