Mark Hamill says he loves to troll Star Wars fans online as it “drives them crazy”

May 1, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Mark Hamill, one of the stars of the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, says that he “loves to tease fans online” and doesn’t care what Disney thinks about it.

Anyone who has paid attention to Mark Hamill online, knows how much the actor enjoys interacting with his fans, this includes teasing them now and again. Trolling Star Wars fans seems to be one of his favourite past times in fact.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hamill spoke about the fun he had trolling fans with Seth Meyers: “[Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker] comes out in December so I only have eight months of trolling left. I love to tease the fans online. It drives them crazy. I’m sure Disney is not happy about it, but what are they gonna do, fire me? It’s too late.”

It’s certainly true that Disney can’t really do anything about Hamill teasing the fans regarding Star Wars. It’s just up to fans themselves to take everything the actor says about the franchise with a pinch a salt.
