Mark Ruffalo doesn’t know which of Marvel’s Phase Three films he will be in yet

November 3, 2014 by Thomas Roach

Last week Marvel Studios announced its line-up of movies through to 2019, and it seems that Mark Ruffalo is yet to be told which films he’ll be appearing in. In an interview with Vulture the actor said:

“We haven’t really gotten into the deals of that; I’m still waiting to hear how many they want me for! It’s like doing a TV show, but in a movie.”

Despite Mark Ruffalo not knowing which films he will star in, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has already confirmed that the Hulk will play a role in Phase Three, stating that: “I wouldn’t say Hulk is absent from that timeline, I’d say Hulk is going to appear in many of those movies, particularly all the Avengers movies,” stated Feige.

It seems we can expect Ruffalo to star as Hulk in the Avengers: Infinity War movies and he could likely have a role in Captain America: Civil War or possibly Guardians of the Galaxy 2. There was a rumour a few months back that the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel would add the Hulk to the team after he is sent into space during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, but this is yet to be confirmed and Guardians director James Gunn has also denied the rumour.

Mark Ruffalo will next be seen reprising his role as Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron which is set for release in the UK on April 24th 2015 and North America on May 1st 2015. Joss Whedon directs a cast that also includes Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Paul Bettany (JARVIS / The Vision), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), James Spader (Ultron), Thomas Kretschmann (Baron Strucker), and Josh Brolin (Thanos).
