After his big screen debut last year in Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel Comics has now announced that the anthropomorphic tree Groot is to head up his own solo series from writer Jeff Loveness and artist Brian Kesinger.

Written by comedic ace Jeff Loveness (“Jimmy Kimmel Live!”) and drawn by Marvel Comics newcomer Brian Kesinger (Disney Animation), get a front row seat for EXPLOSIONS, SPACE SHARKS, ALIENS, AND INTERGALACTIC HITCHIKING (YEAH, BABY!
