With tickets for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* now officially on sale ahead of the film’s release next month, a new trailer has made its way online which sees Bucky Barnes assembling a ragtag team to fill the void (no pun intended, comic fans) left by the Avengers and save the day after Earth’s mightiest new “hero” goes off the rails; take a look at the new trailer below, along with a selection of theater posters also released today…
In “Thunderbolts*,” Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?
Thunderbolts* is directed by Jake Schreier (Paper Towns) and stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, with David Harbour, with Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Thunderbolts* is set for release on May 1st in the UK and on May 2nd in the US.
