Mobile Suit Gundam to battle it out in Call of Duty this June

May 21, 2024 by Andrew Newton

In a new collaboration with Bandai Namco Europe starting this June, Call of Duty will see the arrival of new Operator Skins based on the legendary Gundam series available to purchase in new Tracer Bundles.  These bundles will also include Weapon Blueprints, Finishing Moves and more, all inspired by those iconic Mobile Suits from the Gundam series.

Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on all platforms will have the opportunity to get these new Tracer Pack Bundles.  For the duration of this collaboration event, there will also be a variety of progression rewards, including a Gundam-themed Weapon Blueprint, Weapon Camo, Vinyls, Sticker, Emblem, Weapon Charm and Calling Cards.

There will be three Tracer Pack Bundles available to purchase during the collaboration, these include:

Mobile Suit – RX-78-2 Gundam – This comes with in-game weapon blueprints for the Beam Rifle, Beam Saber and the RX-78-2 Shield. It also features a Calling Card, Emblem, two Loading Screens, two Weapon Stickers, two Weapon Charms and a Large Decal. This bundle will also allow players to use the ‘Newtype Finisher’ Finishing Move.

Mobile Suit – MS-06S Zaku II – This bundle comes with the classic Zaku Machine Gun, Heat Hawk melee weapon and Warship Destroyer rifle blueprints (with ‘Zaku Tracers’ and ‘Mobile Suit Malfunction Dismemberment’ death effects). Also included are two loading screens, a Calling Card, Emblem, two Weapon Stickers, Weapon Charm, a Large Decal and the chance to finish off enemies with the ‘Searing Flesh’ Finishing Move.

Finally, the Mobile Suit – XVX-016 Gundam Aerial Bundle includes the Aerial’s Beam Rifle, Aerial Rebuild Rifle and Escutcheon.  Players will also have access to a Suletta and Miorine weapon vinyl, Gundam Calibarn weapon sticker, three Weapon Charms, a Calling Card, Emblem and three Loading Screens.

The Call of Duty x Gundam event will begin this June with Operator bundles available for purchase then.
