As turmoil spreads across the Khajit homeland of Elseweyr and ancient dragons unleash devastation upon the land, The Elder Scrolls: Legends celebrates with the Moons of Elsweyr expansion. This new expansion features new cards, new mechanics, two pre-made decks and more.
The new expansion adds more than 75 new cards to the game, including a wealth of Khajiit cards across all five attributes, as well as their signature keyword, Pilfer. As the Khajit are closely connected to the twin moons of Tamriel, there has been two new mechanics: Wax and Wane. Players will be able to use cards with one of these two abilities dictated by the ‘waxing’ and ‘waning’ phases of the moons, though these phases change at the end of each of your turns, so time its use well.
The dark art of necromancy runs amok within Elseweyr and thanks to the unrest Necromancers roam the streets, and this gives rise to another new card mechanic called Consume. With Consume, players can remove a card in their discard pile from the game to gain grisly advantages.
