Murder mystery interrogation game Dead Meat gets a trailer

January 7, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Developer Meaning Machine has released a brand-new trailer for their upcoming murder mystery interrogation game Dead Meat showcasing the gameplay and interaction between player and suspect.  Watch this new trailer below and wishlist the game on Steam.

Dead Meat places players in charge of interrogating a number of people, all of which are suspected of murder. All characters have committed a murder but it’s up to players to find out the who, where, whys and whens by asking the suspects literally using keyboard or their voice.

Players can jump straight into a huge conspiracy and quiz a cast of eccentric, cold-blooded killers by discussing their alibis, their relationships or even using manipulation, charm and threats. There are no laws for what you can or cannot do as with real-life interrogations, the only limits are the player’s imagination.

Featuring:

  • Fifteen suspects to interrogate using voice or keyboard.
  • Utilise mind-reading abilities to open new leads that could crack the case.
  • Use classic interrogation techniques or create your own wild, unorthodox tactic.
  • Watch suspects respond emotionally.
  • Piece together a macabre conspiracy involving billionaires.

“We’re excited to share the full vision of Dead Meat for the very first time”, say game directors Thomas Keane and Ben Ackland. “This is your chance to put an evil sect of billionaires in the interrogation chair – and grill them within an inch of their life. A fitting tale for the modern age, you might say… but with more blood, burgers, and body-parts.”

Unpick the truth with Dead Meat, coming to Steam later this year.
