Nathalie Emmanuel vampire horror The Invitation gets a trailer and poster

June 28, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Sony Pictures has released a poster and trailer for The Invitation, the upcoming horror from director Jessica M. Thompson which stars Nathalie Emmanuel as a young woman who finds herself invited to lavish wedding in the English countryside by a long lost cousin, only to be thrust into a nightmare when she discovers her blood-thirsty hosts have ulterior motives.

After the death of her mother and having no other known relatives, Evie (Nathalie Emmanuel) takes a DNA test…and discovers a long-lost cousin she never knew she had. Invited by her newfound family to a lavish wedding in the English countryside, she’s at first seduced by the sexy aristocrat host but is soon thrust into a nightmare of survival as she uncovers twisted secrets in her family’s history and the unsettling intentions behind their sinful generosity.

Joining Nathalie Emmanuel in the cast are Thomas Doherty, Stephanie Corneliussen, Alana Boden, Courtney Taylor, Hugh Skinner, and Sean Pertwee.

The Invitation arrives in cinemas on August 26th.
