Netflix shares new Squid Game season 2 trailer and poster

With just a month to go until the eagerly-awaited second season of Squid Game lands on Netflix, the streamer has released a new trailer and poster for South Korean dystopian survival thriller series which sees Lee Jung-jae’s Player 456 return to the deadly game three years after winning the competition with a plan to end it all and expose the truth; take a look here…

Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the States and comes back with a new resolution in his mind. Gi-hun once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.

The second season of Squid Game sees Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo reprising their roles alongside new cast members including Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an.

Squid Game season 2 arrives on Netflix on December 26th.
