New DLC and free update arrives for Portal Knights on Nintendo Switch

Keen Games and publisher 505 Games have released the ‘Elves, Rogues, and Rifts’ DLC for their sandbox action RPG, Portal Knights, on Nintendo Switch.  Also released alongside this DLC is a free Questing Update that brings lots more content to players.  For more details on the new content watch the new trailer below…

The Elves, Rogues, and Rifts DLC takes players to the mysterious moon of Faynore where they will encounter some very unique content, including:

  • The Elves race allows players to don the pointy ears, adopt elvish hair styles and more, and take them out on the battlefield.
  • The new Rogue class gives players the chance to try out new talents such as stealth and backstabbing and gain access to new craftable weapons and armour.
  • Roguelite Rifts are extensive randomly generated dungeons with great loot, devious traps and cunning puzzles.
  • The Elvish City and Rogue’s Guild – Brand new environments packed with quests.

This new DLC is available for £7.99 from the Nintendo eShop.

Also released is the FREE Questing Update which includes plenty of new features to all players.  These new features include The Mage’s Guild, a new quest city full of characters and Elysian lore, a Creative Mode that allows players to create their own devious dungeon with new logic blocks, buttons, pressure plates and more, and a new Quest Log that makes it possible for players to keep track of their quests as they travel from island to island.

There’s lots more included in this free update including quality of life changes, performance optimisations and bug fixes.
