Rebellion has released a new DLC for their hit WW2 game Sniper Elite: Resistance that adds new story content for the main campaign as well as new weapons and skins. There’s also been the addition of a free DLC that adds a new weapon and skin for players to kit their character out like one of the deadly Allied Commandos. Watch the new trailer below….
With the new Striking Range Mission, Weapons and Skins Pack (priced £13.49/$15.99/€15.79) players will be able to take part in a new mission that sees Harry Hawker having to prevent the launch of a devastating V1 rocket barrage aimed at the Allied invasion fleet ahead of D-Day, while at the same time attempting a covert rescue of the captured Resistance operative, Carillon. This mission will require all the skills gained throughout the rest of the game.
To assist players on this arduous mission are the new SVT-40 and Mars Automatic Pistol. The SVT-40, also known as the Tokarev self-loading rifle, is a Soviet semi-automatic battle rifle with a folding magazine release, whilst the Mars Pistol was heralded as the most powerful handgun at the time.
Players who purchase this pack can also gain access to the Resistance Fighter Character Skin (Harry), Ghillie Suit Elite Character Skin (Harry) and the Ghillie Rifle Wrap Elite.
The new Commando Weapon and Skin Pack (free) features the deadly D.L. Carbine Rifle and the Covert Rifle Wrap. This suppressed rifle is the ideal weapon for those wanting to snipe their targets with a minimum of noise and this pairs perfectly with the Covert Rifle Wrap, which enhances the stealth capabilities of elite operatives.
Both of these new DLCs are available now for those resistance fighters on Xbox, Playstation and PC.
