New trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence reveals the game’s villain

May 7, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer for the highly anticipated A Plague Tale: Innocence which is due out on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on 14th May.   In this latest trailer, titled ‘Monsters’, viewers get to meet many of the game’s villains including the terrifying Lord Nicholas.  Enjoy the trailer below….

In A Plague Tale: Innocence there are plenty of enemies for Amicia and Hugo to avoid while on their journey, not only is there the constant threat of the ravenous swarms of rats that devour everything in their path there are also the more human threats of the English army, brigands and the Inquisition.  The forces of the Inquisition led by the brutal and uncompromising commander, Lord Nicholas, enthusiastically seek out the siblings.  Lord Nicholas and his band of determined zealots will be a formidable foe.

A Plague Tale: Innocence  will transport players to the kingdom of France during the time of the Hundred Years War.  Death is everywhere and the plague has ravaged the streets of every city, town and village leaving untold numbers of dead in the streets.  With rotting meat so plentiful, rats are breeding in huge numbers and their insatiable appetites drive them to consume anything in their path regardless of whether they are living or dead.

Look out for A Plague Tale: Innocence coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 14th May.
