New trailer for Alone in the Dark has us looking for Jeremy

November 8, 2023 by Andrew Newton

THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive have released a new gameplay trailer for Alone in the Dark, titled ‘Looking for Jeremy’.  This new trailer features unedited gameplay scenes and glimpses of the eerie surroundings and unsettling enemies that players will encounter.  You can see this new trailer below…

Alone in the Dark is a re-imagining of the original classic survival horror game and will place gamers in the role of Edward Carnby (played by David Harbour of Stranger Things and Hellboy fame) or Emily Hartwood (portrayed by Jodie Comer from Killing Eve).  As these characters, players will be immersed in dark and gloomy environments, though scenes will vary depending on what character is chosen.  This difference between characters makes it worthwhile to replay so as to experience both characters’ perspectives on events.

Players will need to explore their surroundings, battle supernatural creatures and solve puzzles to uncover the mystery behind the eerie Derceto Manor.

Alone in the Dark features a compelling story from Mikael Hedberg (SOMA, Amnesia: The Dark Descent), terrifying monsters designed by the legendary Guillermo del Toro collaborator Guy Davis and haunting jazz melodies by Jason Köhnen.

Prepare to be terrified by Alone in the Dark on 16th January 2024.
